UX/UI Designer – Required Skills and Qualifications

\n
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with experience gathering and documenting user requirements, identifying user needs and pain points, and translating findings into effective design solutions.
\n
• Hands-on experience in UX/UI design, including interaction design, interface design, and applying user-centered design methodologies.
\n
• Experience planning and conducting user research, usability testing, and formative evaluations to improve user experience and design effectiveness.
\n
• Proficiency with Axure RP for wireframing, prototyping, and interactive design.
\n
• Experience using Adobe XD to create prototypes, user interfaces, and design mockups.
\n
• Familiarity with Pega and/or ServiceNow platforms, including designing user interfaces within enterprise applications.
\n
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
\n
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles to ensure consistent user experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
\n
• Previous experience supporting federal or state government agencies and understanding government-specific application requirements.
\n
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards, with the ability to incorporate accessibility requirements and best practices into UX/UI designs.
